Empty Candle Jars?
Don’t throw away your old candle jars! You can do so much with them from organizing to storage to décor :)
To get rid of the remaining candle wax from its container, try to burn it to the bottom until it’s all liquid then pour it out directly into the trash can. While it’s still warm, you can easily scrub the rest of the wax off with a dish sponge or scrub and wash it all off.
Removing the label stickers on the jars is also a super easy step! While washing the jar, the glue of the sticker automatically weakens and it’s your chance to scrub it off. If there is still glue remaining on the jar, you can mix equal parts of baking soda and cooking oil and spread it onto the label while scrubbing it in a circular motion with a sponge.
Now, onto some ideas of how to make the jars useful!
MAKEUP PRODUCTS/TOOLS
Empty containers can be so useful for makeup organization! Use these especially glass containers for makeup brushes, sponges, pencil liners. I like to place long products in storage containers for easy access.
BATHROOM ORGANIZERS
These glass containers can be used for cotton rounds/balls, Q-tips, bath salts, toothbrush and toothpaste.
OFFICE ORGANIZERS
The jars can be used for pencil, pen, scissor, colored pen storage!
PLANTS
Small plants and succulent jars!
DECOR
Glass jars can be used for a host of decoration! Going from seasonal decorations to everyday flower and art home décor.
KITCHEN STORAGE
The glass containers can be used for food! I would make sure to clean them thoroughly before storing foods. They can be used for dry foods, candies, tea, coffee, sugar, etc..
