Vampiress/Vampire Makeup Ideas
Being a vampire or a vampiress is one of the most fun and easy costume for Halloween. Generally, all you would need is a cape and makeup but you can get away with a good makeup even if you don’t have a cape or vice versa. It can be super simple or you can make it more dramatic and sexy by either having your makeup done by a professional makeup artist or doing it yourself. Here are some ideas of makeup looks that will turn heads everywhere you go!
This is one of my favorite looks! This photo has been retouched quite a bit but if you’re decent at makeup applications, especially eye makeup, then you will do just fine with this look. You will be needing a lighter shade of foundation for this with a fire red lipstick, bronzer, and smoky eyes with burgundy, brown, and red shades. Fake lashes would look great with a full makeup like this, too!
This is another beautifully done vampiress makeup with lots of burgundy and red eyeshadows and a red lip. The brows look perfect paired with strip lashes.
This photo has been retouched but it not difficult to recreate a similar look. Starting with a foundation either similar to your skin tone or 1 shade lighter, top it with translucent powder and bronzer for contouring. Apply a a burgundy eyeshadow on your lids and all around the crease. Find a shade that isn’t too pigmented or mix it with a lighter color. Apply some of the shadow to the lower lids as well. It’s optional to use a mascara but in this look see if you like without it.
This is very achievable vampire look and doesn’t need much effort which is nice. He has on a lighter colored foundation, orange or werewolf contacts, some undereye shadow colors and a few streaks of blood that can be made with 1 or 2 shades of makeup pencils or fake blood painted with an eyeshadow brush.
I absolutely love this look! You can recreate a similar look by using dark red eyeshadow over the lid with either mascara or fake lashes and using a dark lip color (preferably a liquid lipstick because they last longer than a normal lipstick). The contacts and the fangs are optional but they do bring out a beautiful addition to the look. Add some vintage accessories and jewelry for the final touch!
