Tarte Maneater Magnetic Volumptuous Mascara

For those of you that know me, you know how much I love Mascaras. If I had to choose only one makeup product to be able to use everyday, it would no doubt be a mascara.

On those days that I’m super busy and don’t have enough time to apply a full face makeup, I go for a setting powder to mattify oily skin, a lip product (lip gloss mostly), a nude eye shadow over eye shadow primer to keep my eyelids matte and a mascara. All of these products I tend to use on a daily basis to keep my skin looking fresh all day.

Today I’m reviewing one of my favorite mascaras called Maneater by Tarte in Black.

I absolutely love this mascara as it does a really good job of lengthening and volumizing. I found that if I spend more time while applying, it can have a really dramatic effect on my lashes and can almost look like fake lashes (not in a negative way).

One of the main reasons why I love it is the product, obviously, but also the brush. The wand and the brush are straight, unlike some other mascaras that have curvy or rounded brushes that are almost scary to apply near the eye area.

The brush is full sized and has a lot of flexible bristles that are not too long (which is perfect for me) for an even and easy application.

If I wanted a more natural look with this mascara, I would only go over my lashes once or twice and it gives a very subtle yet defined look.

I could also go very dramatic and keep applying until I have thick coats on the lashes and until I have the right shape and length.
